The Federal University of Technology, Babura has fixed its matriculation for the 2024/2025 academic session.
The ceremony will take place on Tuesday, 29 April 2025.
Only newly admitted 100 Level and Direct Entry students will take part.
Pay Matriculation Fee Before Collecting Gown
You must pay ₦1,000 to the Cash Office at the Bursary Department.
The payment begins Tuesday, 22 April 2025.
This fee is not refundable.
Only after payment can you collect the gown.
Collect Matriculation Gown Within the Given Window
Collection begins on Tuesday, 22 April 2025.
The last day to collect is Monday, 28 April 2025.
You must collect your gown from the Academic Office.
Fill and Submit All Required Forms
You must fill two forms:
- Matriculation Oath Form
- Release of Academic Gown Form
Submit both forms with the gown after the event.
Submit them at the Academic Office.
Attend the Ceremony Without Exception
Every new student must be present.
Attendance is required for all freshers.
No exemption will be allowed.
Return Gown Within the Approved Dates
You must return the gown between Tuesday, 29 April and Monday, 5 May 2025.
If you return the gown late, a penalty will apply.
If the gown is lost or damaged, you will pay the full replacement cost.
You must handle the gown with care.
