A JAMB profile is a personal account created by candidates who intend to register for the Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination.
Requirements for JAMB Profile Creation 2025
Before creating your JAMB profile, you must have the following details:
- National Identification Number (NIN)
- Personal GSM Number
This is compulsory, and you must enrol if you haven’t already.
Make sure the phone number you plan to use for registration has not been used by anyone else for UTME/Direct Entry (DE) in the past.
How to Create JAMB Profile for 2025/2026 UTME and Direct Entry Registration
Here is how to create a JAMB profile using your phone in the 2025/2026 academic session:
- To create a JAMB profile and get your code, send a direct sms to JAMB centre number 55019.
- Write “NIN,” followed by a space, and then your 11-digit NIN in the message.
- For example, NIN 1234567890
- Simply replace 1234567890 with your NIN and send the message to 55019.
- You will be charged 50 Naira for the sms.
- After sending it, you will receive your unique profile code, which you will use for the JAMB registration.
Additional Information
- Before creating a JAMB profile code, ensure that the data in your NIN represent you and are correct; if there’s an error, JAMB will automatically generate it, affecting you in the long run.
- You cannot use another person’s NIN to generate a JAMB profile code or to create a JAMB profile.
- You cannot use another person’s phone number to generate a JAMB profile code or to create a JAMB profile.
- If you already created a profile in 2022, 2023, or 2024, you cannot create a new profile; you must use your old JAMB profile code for the 2025 UTME registration.
