Subject Combination / JAMB UTME Requirements
In UTME, please note that English Language is Compulsory for this course. Therefore, the three (3) other JAMB UTME subject combination needed to study Fisheries Technology under the Faculty of Agriculture in the above listed universities include;
Biology/Agric. Science and two of Physics, Chemistry,Mathematics and Economics.
SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS (WAIVER) REMARKS:
i) FEDFISH-LAG requires Chemistry, Biology/Agricultural Science and any other Science or Social Science subject.
ii) FEDAGRIC-AKR requires Biology/Agricultural Science and two (2) of Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics and Economics.
O’Level Requirements
The O’level subject combination and requirements needed to study Fisheries Technology;
You require;
Five (5) ‘O’ Level credit passes in Biology/Agricultural Science, Mathematics and any three (3) of the following: Geography, Food and Nutrition, Economics, Technical Drawing, English Language, Physics, Chemistry, Nigerian Language, Home Economics. ‘O’ Level credit passes in English Language and Chemistry are compulsory.
SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS (WAIVER) REMARKS:
i) FIDEIPOLY and FEDPO-NEK require five (5) ‘O’ Level credit passes in Biology/Agricultural Science, Chemistry and any three (3) of Statistics, Geography, Mathematics, Economics/Commerce/Government and Physics. ‘O’ Level pass in English language is required.
ii) IMO-POLY -Same as Forestry Technology.
iii) DELTAPOLY requires ‘O’ Level pass in Chemistry, Mathematics or English Language, Biology and Agricultural Science.
iv) FEDANIM-VOM – Same as in Animal Health and Production Technology.
v) COLAGRIC-YAN requires Biology and any two (2) of Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics and Economics/Geography as UTME subjects.
vi) FEDFISH-LAG requires ‘O’ Level credit passes in English Language, Mathematics, Chemistry, Biology/Agricultural Science and any other Science or Social Science subject.
