In UTME, please note that English Language is Compulsory for this course. Therefore, the three (3) other JAMB UTME subject combination needed to study Mass Communication under the Faculty of Arts & Humanities in the above listed universities include;
Any three subjects from Arts/Social Science/Physical Science.

i)Â BAUCHIPOLY requires any three (3) subjects from Sciences, Arts or Social Science.
ii) YABATECH requires Literature in English, Economics, and Government/History
O’Level Requirements
The O’level subject combination and requirements needed to study Mass Communication;
You require;
English Language and Mathematics and any three other subjects from:History,Literature in English, Economics/Commerce,Fine Arts,Government,Biology Physics,Chemistry, Basic Electricity,Geography, Typewriting,Commerce/Principles of Accounting.

SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS (WAIVER) REMARKS:Â Â
i)Â NIJ, IBADANPOLY and OSUNPO require credit pass in Mathematics.
ii)Â NIJ, OKOPOLYÂ require five (5) ‘O’ Level credit passes at not more than two (2) sittings.
iii)Â IMTEÂ accepts ‘O’ Level credit passes in any of Chemistry, Physics, Biology, or Mathematics as one (1) of the credit requirements.
iv)Â LASPOTECH requires ‘O’ Level credit passes in a Physical Science subject and Geography. It also accepts Yoruba as course requirement.
v)Â KADPOLY accepts Agricultural Science in lieu of Biology as course requirement.
vi)Â YABATECH requires five (5) O’ Level credit passes in English Language and Mathematics , Literature in English and any two (2) other subjects from: History, Economics/Commerce, Fine Arts, Government, Biology, Physics, Chemistry, Agric. Science, Geography, Typewriting, Principles of Accounting, Photography, Marketing and Yoruba/Hausa/Igbo.
vii)Â IBADANPOLY requires three (3) other subjects from Geography, Yoruba, History, Government, IS/CRS and any Physical Science subject.
viii)Â AKWAIBOMPOLY accepts CRS and Principles of Accounts
ix)Â RUGIPO require ‘O’ Level credit passes in Literature in English Yoruba, CRS/IS. Also accepts ‘O’ Level pass in Mathematics.
x)Â OFFAPOLY requires Literature in English as compulsory UTME subjects and any two (2) other subject from Yoruba/Igbo/Hausa, Commerce/ Economics/Government, Biology/Agricultural Science/ Geography, CRS/IS.
xi)Â NEKEDEPOLY requires ‘O’ Level credit pass in one (1) Basic Science subject, and any two (2) from Government, Literature in English, Geography, Commerce, Economics, Igbo, CRS, Fine Arts, History, Information Communication Technology.
xii)Â OSUNPOLY accepts ‘O’ Level credit passes in CRS/IS, Yoruba, Civic Education/Government/History, Marketing/Economics/Commerce.
xiii)Â FIDEIPOLY requires five (5) ‘O’ Level credit passes at not more than two sittings in the following subjects English Language, Mathematics and any three (3) from Literature in English, Economics, Commerce, Geography, Government, CRS, Fine Arts, History, and Information Communication Technology.
xiv) NASARAWAPOLY requires ‘O’ Level credit pass in Literature in English as part of course requirements.
xv)Â AUCHIPOLY requires that the relevant number of ‘O’ Level credit passes should include English Language, Mathematics, and Literature in English.
xvi)Â KWARAPOLY requires credit pass in Literature in English.
xvii) ILAROPOLY requires ‘O’ credit passes in English Language (not Literature in English), Mathematics, and any three subjects from the following:  History, Economics/Commerce, Literature in English, Fine Art,  Government, Physics, Chemistry,  Biology,  Basic Electricity,  Geography, Typewriting,  Principles of Accounts, Photography, Computer Science, Music, Nigerian and International Language, Printing and Craft Practice, Radio/ Television and Electronics Works, Shorthand, Fine Art / Visual Art, Book Keeping, CRS/IS, Cosmetology, Marketing, Pass in Physics, Electronics/Basic Electricity will be an advantage. And Relevant NTC/NBC &NVC Trades.
xviii) BAUCHIPOLYÂ requires âOâ Level credit passes in English Language, Mathematics and any other three (3) subjects from History, Literature in English, Economics/Commerce, Fine Arts, Government, Biology, Physics, Chemistry, Basic Electricity, Geography, Typewriting and Principles of Accounts.
