Subject Combination / JAMB UTME Requirements
In UTME, please note that English Language is Compulsory for this course. Therefore, the three (3) other JAMB UTME subject combination needed to study Nautical Science under the Faculty of Sciences in the above listed universities include;
Any three (3) of Geography, Physics, Mathematics, Technical Drawing and Economics
SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS (WAIVER) REMARKS:
i) FCFMT requires Mathematics, Physics and Geography.
ii) MARITIMEACADEMY requires Mathematics, Physics and Geography
O’Level Requirements
The O’level subject combination and requirements needed to study Nautical Science;
You require;
Five (5) SSC credit passes in English Language is required.
Mathematics, Physics, Geography and two (2) others from
Chemistry,
Economics/Commerce,
Biology/Agricultural Science,
Woodwork,
Metalwork,
Foreign Language,
Technical Drawing,
Basic Electricity.
Plus five (5) SSC credit pass in English Language.
SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS (WAIVER) REMARKS:
i) FCFMT requires credit passes in English Language, Mathematics, Physics, Geography and any one (1) of the following Chemistry, Technical Drawing and Economics/Commerce.
ii) MARITIMEACADEMY requires five (5) credit passes at O/Level (WASC, GCE, NECO or NABTEB ) in not more than two (2) sittings. Subjects include: English Language, Mathematics, Physics, Geography and any other related Science subject. Candidate(s) should not be more than 21 years old and Not less than 16 years old at the time of admission and shall be single and remain single throughout the duration of the programme
