Subject Combination / JAMB UTME Requirements
In UTME, please note that English Language is Compulsory for this course. Therefore, the three (3) other JAMB UTME subject combination needed to study Mass Communication under the Faculty of Administration in the above listed universities include;
Literature in English, Economics and Government.
SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS (WAIVER) REMARKS:
(i) CRUTECH accepts Literature in English, Government and CRS.
(ii) AAUA requires three (3) Arts or Social Science subjects.

O’Level Requirements
The O’level subject combination and requirements needed to study Mass Communication;
You require;
Five (5) SSCE credit passes to include English Language, Literature in English and Government plus a pass in Mathematics.
SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS (WAIVER) REMARKS:

(i)Β AAUA accepts five (5) βOβ Level credit passes to includeΒ English Language, Literature in English, Mathematics and two other subjects from Social Science/Arts.
(ii) CRUTECH requires βOβ level credit passes in English Language, Mathematics, Literature in English, Government, and any other Social Science or Arts subjects.
(iii) ESUT requires βOβ level credit pass in Economics and accepts History or Government.
(iv) WELLSPRING accepts a pass in Mathematics provided the candidate has a total of five (5) βOβ level credit passes including English language, Government/History, and Literature in English.
Direct Entry Requirements
These are the conditions you need to fulfill to gain Direct Entry admission to study Mass Communication, if you don’t intend to use UTME.
You require;
Two (2) βAβ level passes in Literature in English, Economics or Government.
SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS (WAIVER) REMARKS:

(i) AAUA accepts two (2) βAβ Level passes orΒ Β ND upper credit in Mass Communication from recognised institutions
(ii) CRUTECH and ESUT accept ND upper credit or HND in Mass Communication from any recognized institution. Also requires Direct Entry applicants to possess the UTME requirements.
(iii) WELLSPRING accepts two (2) βAβ level passes (including NABTEB), as well as ND in Mass Communication from recognized institutions.
