In UTME, please note that English Language is Compulsory for this course. Therefore, the three (3) other JAMB UTME subject combination needed to study Animal Physiology under the Faculty of Agriculture in the above listed universities include;
Chemistry, Biology/Agriculture and Mathematics /Physics.
O’Level Requirements
The O’level subject combination and requirements needed to study Animal Physiology;
You require;
Five (5) SSCE credit passes in English Language, Chemistry, Mathematics, Biology/Agric Science and one of Physics, Geography or Economics.
SPECIAL CONSIDERATION (WAIVER) REMARKS
(i) FUNAAB requires
a. credit passes in English Language, Mathematics, Chemistry, Physics and Biology.
b. at least ‘O’ level pass in Physics. c. candidates with ‘O’ level pass in Biology must possess ‘O’ level credit pass in Agricultural Science. Does not accept Agricultural Science in lieu of Biology
Direct Entry Requirements
These are the conditions you need to fulfill to gain Direct Entry admission to study Animal Physiology, if you don’t intend to use UTME.
You require;
Two (2) ‘A’ level passes or its equivalent in Chemistry and one of Biology/Botany/Zoology/Agriculture Science/Geography/Geology/Mathematics/Economics
SPECIAL CONSIDERATION (WAIVER) REMARKS
(i) FUNAAB accepts
(a) Two (2) ‘A’ level passes in Chemistry and one (1) of Zoology/Botany/Agricultural Science/Biology, Mathematics or Physics. (b) ND/HND upper credit in Agriculture from a recognised institution in any one of Animal Sciences, Animal Production and Health, Husbandry, Agricultural Economics, Fisheries and Forestry and Wildlife Management plus the UTME requirements.
