O’Level Requirements
The O’level subject combination and requirements needed to study Forestry and Wood Technology;
You require;
Five SSCE credit passes to include Chemistry, Biology/Agricultural Science, Mathematics, English Language and at least a pass in Physics.
SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS (WAIVER) REMARKS
(i) FUTA requires at least five (5) credit passes at SSC or its equivalent at not more than two (2) sittings in English Language, Chemistry, Biology or Agricultural Science, Mathematics, Physics/Economics/Geography. At least a pass in Physics is required.
Direct Entry Requirements
These are the conditions you need to fulfill to gain Direct Entry admission to study Forestry and Wood Technology, if you don’t intend to use UTME.
You require;
Two โAโ level passes from Physics, Chemistry and Biology at one sitting.
SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS (WAIVER) REMARKS
(i) FUTA accepts
(a) ND upper credit or its equivalent, or HND with a minimum of lower credit in Forestry or Agriculture from recognised institutions.
(b) โAโ Level or its equivalent passes at one (1) sitting with at least six (6) points in at least two (2) of the following subjects: Physics, Chemistry and Biology.
(c) NCE credit in Agriculture Double Major and at credit pass level.
