Subject Combination / JAMB UTME Requirements
In UTME, please note that English Language is Compulsory for this course. Therefore, the three (3) other JAMB UTME subject combination needed to study Forestry / Forest Resources Management under the Faculty of Agriculture in the above listed universities include;
Chemistry, Biology or Agriculture and Physics or Mathematics
O’Level Requirements
The O’level subject combination and requirements needed to study Forestry / Forest Resources Management;
You require;
Five SSCE credit passes in English, Chemistry, Mathematics, Biology and one of Physics, Economics, Further Mathematics and Statistics.
SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS (WAIVER) REMARKS
(1) RSUST – accepts ‘O’ Level pass in English Language for candidates with five (5) ‘O’ Level credit passes which include Mathematics and Physics
(2) RSUST require at least a pass in Physics.
Direct Entry Requirements
These are the conditions you need to fulfill to gain Direct Entry admission to study Forestry / Forest Resources Management, if you don’t intend to use UTME.
You require;
Two โAโ level passes in Chemistry and Biology or Agric Science or Zoology or Botany.
SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS (WAIVER) REMARKS
(1) RSUST requires HSC/GCE A’ level passes in Chemistry and Biology including English Language, ND/UD (upper credit) in Biology or Agricultural Science for admission to 200 level or HND (credit) in Biology or Agricultural Science for admission to 200 or 300 levels respectively in addition to UTME requirement.
(2) UI accepts ND in Forestry provided the ‘O’ Level requirements are met.
(3) UDUSOK accepts:
a) NCE (Agric) or OND (credit level) in Agric/Forestry.
b) HND (Agric) or Forestry may be admitted into 300 level.
