In UTME, please note that English Language is Compulsory for this course. Therefore, the three (3) other JAMB UTME subject combination needed to study Plant Breeding and Seed Technology under the Faculty of Agriculture in the above listed universities include;
Chemistry, Biology/Agriculture and Mathematics or Physics.
O’Level Requirements
The O’level subject combination and requirements needed to study Plant Breeding and Seed Technology;
You require;
Five SSCE credit passes to include Chemistry, Biology/Agric Science Mathematics and one Science/Social Science subject and at least a pass in Physics

SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS (WAIVER) REMARKS:
(i) FUNAAB requires
a. credit passes in English Language, Mathematics, Chemistry, Physics and Biology.
b. at least โOโ level pass in Physics.
c. candidates with โOโ level pass in Biology must possess โOโ level credit pass in Agricultural Science. Does not accept Agricultural Science in lieu of Biology
Direct Entry Requirements
These are the conditions you need to fulfill to gain Direct Entry admission to study Plant Breeding and Seed Technology, if you don’t intend to use UTME.
You require;
Two โAโ level passes in Chemistry and Biology/Agric Science/Botany/Zoology or Physics/Mathematics/ Economics.

SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS (WAIVER) REMARKS
(i)ย FUNAAB accepts;
(a) Two (2) ‘ Aโ level credit passes in Chemistry and one of Zoology/Botany/Agricultural Science/Biology, Mathematics or Physics.
(b) ND/HND upper credit in Agriculture from a recognised institution in any one (1) of Agricultural Economics, Agricultural Extension, Fisheries, Forestry and Wildlife Management, Agricultural Technology plus the UTME requirements.
(c) NCE credit in Agricultural Science, Biology, Chemistry or Physics plus the UTME requirements.
