Subject Combination / JAMB UTME Requirements


In UTME, please note that English Language is Compulsory for this course. Therefore, the three (3) other JAMB UTME subject combination needed to study African and Asian Studies under the Faculty of Arts & Humanities in the above listed universities include;

Igbo and two (2) subjects from Arts and Social Sciences.

SPECIAL CONSIDERATION (WAIVER) REMARKS

(i)Β UNIZIK accepts Chinese in lieu of Igbo.

O’Level Requirements


The O’level subject combination and requirements needed to study African and Asian Studies;

You require;

Five (5) SSC credit passes to include Igbo, English Language and any other Arts subject.

Direct Entry Requirements


These are the conditions you need to fulfill to gain Direct Entry admission to study African and Asian Studies, if you don’t intend to use UTME.

You require;

(i) Two (2) β€˜A’ Level passes in Igbo and oneΒ  (1) Arts/Social Sciences subject.

(ii) NCE in Igbo and one Arts subject.
