1. College of Arabic and Islamic Legal Studies, Ilorin (Affiliated to Bayero University) (CAILS-DEG)

Subject Combination / JAMB UTME Requirements


In UTME, please note that English Language is Compulsory for this course. Therefore, the three (3) other JAMB UTME subject combination needed to study Arabic Language under the Faculty of Arts & Humanities in the above listed universities include;

Arabic and two (2) subjects from Arts and/or Social Sciences.

O’Level Requirements


The O’level subject combination and requirements needed to study Arabic Language;

You require;

Five (5) SSCE credit passes in English Language, Arabic and three (3) other relevant subjects.

Direct Entry Requirements


These are the conditions you need to fulfill to gain Direct Entry admission to study Arabic Language, if you don’t intend to use UTME.

You require;

Two (2) โ€˜Aโ€™ Level passes in Arabic and any other Arts subject.
