In UTME, please note that English Language is Compulsory for this course. Therefore, the three (3) other JAMB UTME subject combination needed to study History and Strategic Studies under the Faculty of Arts & Humanities in the above listed universities include;
History and any other two subjects from Arts and Social Sciences.
SPECIAL CONSIDERATION (WAIVER) REMARKS
UNILAG requires English Language, History and/or Government and any one or two Arts or Social Sciences.
O’Level Requirements
The O’level subject combination and requirements needed to study History and Strategic Studies;
You require;
Five (5) SSCE credit passes to include History and English Language.
SPECIAL CONSIDERATION (WAIVER) REMARKS
(i) UNILAG requires Five O/Level credit passes in English Language, Mathematics, History/Government and any two of Literature in-English, CRS/IRS, Civic Education and anyΒ Nigerian Language.
(ii)Β RUN accepts βOβ Level pass in Mathematics.
Direct Entry Requirements
These are the conditions you need to fulfill to gain Direct Entry admission to study History and Strategic Studies, if you don’t intend to use UTME.
You require;
Two (2) βAβ level passes in History and any other related subjects.
SPECIAL CONSIDERATION (WAIVER) REMARKS
UNILAG requires Very good passes in three JUPEB/Aβ Level subjects: History and/or Government and any two or one of Igbo/Yoruba, CRS/IRS, Literature-in-English, French, Music and Fine Arts.
