Subject Combination / JAMB UTME Requirements
In UTME, please note that English Language is Compulsory for this course. Therefore, the three (3) other JAMB UTME subject combination needed to study Igbo / Linguistics under the Faculty of Arts & Humanities in the above listed universities include;
Igbo and two (2) subjects from Artsandsocial Sciences.
O’Level Requirements
The O’level subject combination and requirements needed to study Igbo / Linguistics;
You require;
Five (5) SSCE credit passes to include Igbo, English Language and any other Arts subject.
Direct Entry Requirements
These are the conditions you need to fulfill to gain Direct Entry admission to study Igbo / Linguistics, if you don’t intend to use UTME.
You require;
(i) Two (2) ‘A’ level passes in Igbo and one (2)Arts/Social Sciences subject.
(ii) NCE in Igbo and one Arts subject.
SPECIAL CONSIDERATION (WAIVER) REMARKS
IMSU accepts ‘A’ level passes/NCE merit.
