Subject Combination / JAMB UTME Requirements


In UTME, please note that English Language is Compulsory for this course. Therefore, the three (3) other JAMB UTME subject combination needed to study Linguistic / Urhobo under the Faculty of Arts & Humanities in the above listed universities include;

Any Language and two (2) other subjects.

SPECIAL CONSIDERATION (WAIVER) REMARKS

(i) DELSU accepts one Arts subject and any other two from Arts and Social Sciences.

O’Level Requirements


The O’level subject combination and requirements needed to study Linguistic / Urhobo;

You require;

Five (5) SSC credit passes including English Language.

SPECIAL CONSIDERATION (WAIVER) REMARKS

(i) DELSU requires five (5) credit level passes at SSCE/NECO/GCE โ€˜Oโ€™ Level which may include Mathematics, English Language, four other subjects from Arts and Social Science.

Direct Entry Requirements


These are the conditions you need to fulfill to gain Direct Entry admission to study Linguistic / Urhobo, if you don’t intend to use UTME.

You require;

Two (2) โ€˜Aโ€™ Level passes or NCE to include any Language, preferably an African Language.

SPECIAL CONSIDERATION (WAIVER) REMARKS

(i) DELSU:

a) Candidate must have at least a merit pass in French and one other Art subject at the NCE level

b) GCE A/L passes should include French and one other Arts subject.

c) Certified Diploma in French from a recognized Institute like the Nigerian French Language Village and the likes will be accepted in place of โ€˜Aโ€™ Level French.
