Subject Combination / JAMB UTME Requirements
In UTME, please note that English Language is Compulsory for this course. Therefore, the three (3) other JAMB UTME subject combination needed to study Modern Languages B.A. (Single and Combined Hons) under the Faculty of Arts & Humanities in the above listed universities include;
For Programme A, French and any other two (2) subjects.
For Programme B, any three (3) subjects
O’Level Requirements
The O’level subject combination and requirements needed to study Modern Languages B.A. (Single and Combined Hons);
You require;
For programme A, five (5) SSC credit passes including English Language and French.
For Programme B, credit passes in English Language and four (4) other subjects.
Direct Entry Requirements
These are the conditions you need to fulfill to gain Direct Entry admission to study Modern Languages B.A. (Single and Combined Hons), if you don’t intend to use UTME.
You require;
(i) Two (2) ‘A’ Level passes or NCE French for French programme.
(ii) Two (2) ‘A’ Level passes or NCE in any subjects.
SPECIAL CONSIDERATION (WAIVER) REMARKS:
(i) UNN accepts French only: Passes in French and any other subject at NCE, ‘A’ Levels plus ‘O’ Level credit pass in English Language or its equivalent.
(ii) UNN requires for Programme B, ‘A’ Level passes in History or Literature in English and four (4) other subjects.
