In UTME, please note that English Language is Compulsory for this course. Therefore, the three (3) other JAMB UTME subject combination needed to study Performing Arts under the Faculty of Arts & Humanities in the above listed universities include;
Literature in English and two (2) other relevant subjects

The O’level subject combination and requirements needed to study Performing Arts;
You require;
Five (5) SSCE credit passes to include English Language and Arts subjects.

SPECIAL CONSIDERATION (WAIVER) REMARKS
(i) KWASU requires βOβ level credit pass in Literature in English.
(ii) UNILORIN accepts five (5) ‘O’ level credit passes to include English Language and Literature in EnglishΒ plus any other Arts/Social Science subjects.
(iii) UNILORIN accepts ABRSM Grade V and above (Music Theory) or equivalent certificate in lieu of βOβ level credit pass in Literature in English.
(iv) OOU requires five (5) ‘O’ level credit passes to include English Language, Literature in English, and Arts subjects.
Direct Entry Requirements
These are the conditions you need to fulfill to gain Direct Entry admission to study Performing Arts, if you don’t intend to use UTME.
You require;
Two (2) βAβ level passes in Arts, Social Sciences or Science subjects.

SPECIAL CONSIDERATION (WAIVER) REMARKS
(i)Β UNILORIN requires βAβ Level candidates to possess English Language and Literature in English at ‘O’ Level credit passes.
(ii) KWASU accepts:
a) Two (2) βAβ Level passes in Arts and one Social Science subject.Β
b) ND upper credit in visual or Theatre Arts. NCE merit in English language, Literature in English, and any Arts subject.
c) NCE merit in music and any other Arts subject.
(iii) OOU accepts two (2) ‘A’ level passes in Arts, Social Sciences, or Science subjects, also accepts ND upper credit and NCE merit in Theater/Performing/Creative/Communication/ Music/ Fine and Applied Arts and other relevant progammes from recognised Institutions.
(iv) OOU will conduct an audition before selection.
