Subject Combination / JAMB UTME Requirements
In UTME, please note that English Language is Compulsory for this course. Therefore, the three (3) other JAMB UTME subject combination needed to study Building Technology Education under the Faculty of Education in the above listed universities include;
Mathematics, Physics and Chemistry
SPECIAL CONSIDERATION (WAIVER) REMARKS
(i) ATBU requires Mathematics, Physics and any other Science subject.
O’Level Requirements
The O’level subject combination and requirements needed to study Building Technology Education;
You require;
Five (5) SSCE credit passes to include Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry, English Language and any other Science subject.
SPECIAL CONSIDERATION (WAIVER) REMARKS
(i) ATBU requires;
(a) ‘O’ Level credit passes in English Language, Mathematics, Physics/General Sciences/Electrical Electronics Trades and any other two (2) relevant Science subjects.
(b) accepts credit pass in Arithmetic or General Science or Technical Trades in lieu of Mathematics or Biology or Physics respectively.
Direct Entry Requirements
These are the conditions you need to fulfill to gain Direct Entry admission to study Building Technology Education, if you don’t intend to use UTME.
You require;
Two (2) ‘A’ Level passes in Mathematics, Physics or Chemistry
SPECIAL CONSIDERATION (WAIVER) REMARKS
(i) ATBU accepts;
(a) NCE merit in Electrical/Electronics Education Sciences. NCE in Electrical/Electronics Education with five (5) years teaching experience.
(b) ND lower credit in Electrical/Electronics.
(c) ‘A’ Level passes in Mathematics and Physics.
