Subject Combination / JAMB UTME Requirements
In UTME, please note that English Language is Compulsory for this course. Therefore, the three (3) other JAMB UTME subject combination needed to study Counsellor Education under the Faculty of Education in the above listed universities include;

O’Level Requirements
The O’level subject combination and requirements needed to study Counsellor Education;
You require;
Five (5) ‘O’ Level NTC/NBC credit passes or TC II merit including English Language with ‘O’ Level pass in Mathematics.
SPECIAL CONSIDERATION (WAIVER) REMARKS
1. UNILORIN requires Credit passes in English Language and Mathematics, and 3 other subjects at ‘O’ Level (WASC/GCE) or approved equivalent at not more than two (2) sittings.
Direct Entry Requirements
These are the conditions you need to fulfill to gain Direct Entry admission to study Counsellor Education, if you don’t intend to use UTME.
You require;
‘A’ level passes or NCE in two subjects plus UTME requirements.
SPECIAL CONSIDERATION (WAIVER) REMARKS
1. UNILORIN accepts
a)Two (2) passes at the Principal or Advanced Level with G.C.E. ‘O’ level or approved equivalent Credit passes in three other subjects at not more than two (2) sittings.
b)Three (3) passes at the Principal or Advanced level with G.C.E. ‘O’ level or approved equivalent credit passes in two other subjects at not more than two sittings; (passes at the Principal or Advanced level may be obtained at the G.C.E. ‘A’ level, H.S.C. or IJMB).
c)Passes in two recognized NCE subjects with GCE ‘O’ level credits or equivalent in three other subjects. Education is accepted as a third ‘A’ level subject for those taking courses in Education.
