Subject Combination / JAMB UTME Requirements


In UTME, please note that English Language is Compulsory for this course. Therefore, the three (3) other JAMB UTME subject combination needed to study Human Kinetics and Health Education under the Faculty of Education in the above listed universities include;

Biology and any two (2) relevant subjects.

SPECIAL CONSIDERATION (WAIVER) REMARKS

(i) EKSU requires Biology and any two (2) relevant subjects.

(ii) UNIPORT requires One (1) Science subject and any other two (2) from French, Literature in English, History/Government, CRK/IRK, Economics, Mathematics, Biology, Chemistry, Agricultural Science, Further Mathematics, Technical Drawing, Physics, Igbo/Hausa/Yoruba, Fine Art, Geography, Commerce, Accounting.

(iii) FUDMA accepts English Language, Biology, Chemistry/Physics and any other science subject.

O’Level Requirements


The O’level subject combination and requirements needed to study Human Kinetics and Health Education;

You require;

i. Five (5) SSC credit passes/TC II merit passes including English Language, Biology or its equivalent.
 
ii. Five (5) SSC credit passes /TC II merit passes to include English Language and Mathematics.

SPECIAL CONSIDERATION (WAIVER) REMARKS

(i) EKSU five (5) ‘O’ level credit passes to include English Language, Mathematics, Biology/Health Science/or Physical Education/Science and other two subjects at not more than two (2) sittings.

(ii) UNIPORT requires Five (5) SSC credits in English Language, Biology and any other three (3) from French, Literature in English, History/Government, CRK/IRK, Economics, Mathematics, Chemistry, Agricultural Science, Further Mathematics, Technical Drawing, Physics, Igbo/Hausa/Yoruba, Fine Art, Geography, Commerce, Accounting.

(iii) FUDMA accepts Five ‘O’ level Credits to include: English Language, Mathematics, Chemistry, Biology and Physics.

Direct Entry Requirements


These are the conditions you need to fulfill to gain Direct Entry admission to study Human Kinetics and Health Education, if you don’t intend to use UTME.

You require;

SPECIAL CONSIDERATION (WAIVER) REMARKS

 

(i) UNIPORT accepts Two (2) A/level GCE or HSC or JUPEB or IJMB passes in relevant subjects in addition to UTME entry requirements. NCE with Credit passes in Health Education, Health Science, Physical Education, Integrated Science, Agricultural Science or Biology, in addition to UTME entry requirements.  Merit level pass in National Institute for Sports (NIS) Certificate in addition to UTME entry requirements.

(ii) FUDMA Two ‘A’ level passes in any of Biology, Chemistry and Physics or NCE with five ‘O’ level credits and a merit pass in Physics and Health Education from a recognized institution. Diploma Certificate in Physical and Health Education with a minimum of merit pass in addition to five ‘O’ level credit passes which must include: English Language and Biology.

(v) EKSU accepts;

a) Passes at credit/merit level in Human Kinetics & Health Education or PHE at NCE level in addition to 3 ‘O’ level credit passes including English Language and Mathematics at not more than two (2) sittings.

b) NRN in Nursing/Midwifery or ND in Health, Environmental Health etc from College of Health Technology plus five (5) ‘O’ Level credit passes including English Language and Mathematics at not more than two (2) sittings.

c) Two (2) ‘A’ level passes in Biology, Health Education or Integrated Science plus UTME requirements.

d) Diploma in Human Kinetics and Health Education from any recognized University at merit/credit level plus UTME requirements.
