Subject Combination / JAMB UTME Requirements
In UTME, please note that English Language is Compulsory for this course. Therefore, the three (3) other JAMB UTME subject combination needed to study Vocational Education under the Faculty of Education in the above listed universities include;
Mathematics, Economics plus one of Literature in English, History, Government, Geography/Physics.
Chemistry and Physics,Mathematics, Biology and Chemistry
O’Level Requirements
The O’level subject combination and requirements needed to study Vocational Education;
You require;
Agric. Technology Education
(i) Five SSCE credits to include English, Mathematics., Chemistry, Agric Science and Geography/Physics
(ii) TC Grade II
Home Economics
(i) Five SSCE credits in English, Mathematics., Home Economics and any two of Mgt, Biology, Chemistry, and Clothing and Textiles
Direct Entry Requirements
These are the conditions you need to fulfill to gain Direct Entry admission to study Vocational Education, if you don’t intend to use UTME.
You require;
Agric. Technology Education
1. NCE in Agricultural Science Education (DM)
with credit
2. ND with a minimum Upper credit in
Agricultural Science
3. HND with Lower Credit in relevant areas of
Agricultural Science
Home Economics:
1. NCE in Home Economics at Merit level
2. National Diploma in Home Economics at lower credit level
