(i) ABUAD requires at least five (5) SSC credit passes or its equivalent in English Language, Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry and Biology.
(ii) UNILORIN: UTME candidates should have five (5) ‘O’ Level WASCE/NECO and its equivalent credits in five subjects including Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry and English Language and Biology.
Direct Entry Requirements
These are the conditions you need to fulfill to gain Direct Entry admission to study Biomedical Engineering, if you don’t intend to use UTME.
You require;
Two (2) ‘A’ Level passes in Chemistry and any one of Physics, Biology/ Zoology/Botany and Mathematics.

SPECIAL CONSIDERATION (WAIVER) REMARKS
(i) UNILORIN accepts;accepts;
a) Candidates should have five (5) ‘O’ Level WASCE/NECO and its equivalent credits in five subjects including Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry and English Language and Biology.
b) Candidates with Ordinary National Diploma (OND/ND) in Biomedical Engineering or other relevant engineering disciplines with minimum of Upper Credit and a minimum of one-year post qualification industrial attachment may be considered for admission into a 4-year degree programme.
c) Candidates who possess three ‘A’ Level passes in Mathematics, Physics and Chemistry considered. Higher National Diploma (HND) at Upper credit Level in Biomedical Engineering may be considered for admission into the 300 Level of the programme and, must have at least 1-year post qualification experience.
