Subject Combination / JAMB UTME Requirements
In UTME, please note that English Language is Compulsory for this course. Therefore, the three (3) other JAMB UTME subject combination needed to study Economics under the Faculty of Engineering, Environment & Technology in the above listed universities include;
Mathematics, Economics and any one of Chemistry, Physics or Biology
O’Level Requirements
The O’level subject combination and requirements needed to study Economics;
You require;
Five SSCE credit passes to include, English Language, Mathematics, Economics and any other two science subjects from Chemistry,
Physics, Biology, Geography, Health Science, Metal Works, Wood Work, Agric Science, Technical Drawing, Nutrition and Food Science.
Direct Entry Requirements
These are the conditions you need to fulfill to gain Direct Entry admission to study Economics, if you don’t intend to use UTME.
You require;
Two A’ Level passes in Economics, Accountancy, Business Management, Government and Geography. Candidate must have Science background at ‘O’ Level.
