Subject Combination / JAMB UTME Requirements
In UTME, please note that English Language is Compulsory for this course. Therefore, the three (3) other JAMB UTME subject combination needed to study Doctor of Pharmacy under the Faculty of Medical, Pharmaceutical & Health Sciences in the above listed universities include;
Physics, Chemistry and Biology.
SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS (WAIVER) REMARKS
(i) UNILORIN requires Physics Chemistry and Biology.
O’Level Requirements
The O’level subject combination and requirements needed to study Doctor of Pharmacy;
You require;
Five (5) SSCE credit passes in English Language, Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry and Biology.
SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS (WAIVER) REMARKS:
(i) UNILORIN requires Credit passes at O’Level in five (5) subjects including: English Language, Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry and Biology in WASC or NECO at not more than two (2) sittings
(ii) UNIUYO require the five (5) ‘O’ Level credit passes at not more than two (2) sittings.
Direct Entry Requirements
These are the conditions you need to fulfill to gain Direct Entry admission to study Doctor of Pharmacy, if you don’t intend to use UTME.
You require;
Three (3) ‘A’ Level passes in Chemistry, Biology/Zoology and Physics or Mathematics plus UTME requirements.
SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS (WAIVER) REMARKS:
(i) UNIBEN accepts
a) ‘A’ Level pass in Botany in lieu of Biology.
b) B.Sc. second class in related programmes.
(ii) UNIBEN and UNIUYO do not accept ‘A’ Level pass in Mathematics.
(iii) UNILORIN accepts ‘A’ Level pass in three (3) science subjects: Chemistry, Physics and Biology
