Subject Combination / JAMB UTME Requirements
In UTME, please note that English Language is Compulsory for this course. Therefore, the three (3) other JAMB UTME subject combination needed to study Environmental Health Science under the Faculty of Medical, Pharmaceutical & Health Sciences in the above listed universities include;
Physics, Chemistry and Biology

(i) FUTO requires Physics, Chemistry and Biology.
O’Level Requirements
The O’level subject combination and requirements needed to study Environmental Health Science;
You require;
Five (5) SSC credit passes in Mathematics, Chemistry, Biology, Physics and English Language.
SPECIAL CONSIDERATION (WAIVER) REMARKS
(ix) FUTO requires at least five (5) ‘O’ Level credit passes in English Language, Mathematics, Chemistry, Physics and Biology in not more than two (2) sittings.
Direct Entry Requirements
These are the conditions you need to fulfill to gain Direct Entry admission to study Environmental Health Science, if you don’t intend to use UTME.
You require;
(i) Two (2) ‘A’ Level passes in Biology/ Zoology, Chemistry and Physics plus three (3) other ‘O’ Level credit passes in Mathematics, Physics and English Language.
(ii) NRN or its approved equivalent plus five (5) ‘O’ Level credit passes in English Language and four (4) Science subjects chosen from Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry, Biology, Human Anatomy, Physiology and Hygiene, Health Science, Further Mathematics and General Science.
SPECIAL CONSIDERATION (WAIVER) REMARKS
(ix) FUTO requires;
a) At least three ‘A’ level passes not below Grade C in Physics and any two of Chemistry, Biology and Mathematics.
b) ND/HND at Upper Credit level in Biomedical Technology, Biomedical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering or Health sciences.
c) First Degree in Engineering or Health sciences.
d) Very good passes in three JUPEB subjects namely Chemistry, Biology and Physics. It does not accept NCE. Candidates must in addition meet the ‘O’ Level requirements.
