Subject Combination / JAMB UTME Requirements


In UTME, please note that English Language is Compulsory for this course. Therefore, the three (3) other JAMB UTME subject combination needed to study Earth Science under the Faculty of Sciences in the above listed universities include;

Any three (3) of Physics, Chemistry, Biology and Mathematics.

O’Level Requirements


The O’level subject combination and requirements needed to study Earth Science;

You require;

Five (5) SSCE credit passes including English Language, Mathematics, Physics and Chemistry/Biology.

Direct Entry Requirements


These are the conditions you need to fulfill to gain Direct Entry admission to study Earth Science, if you don’t intend to use UTME.

You require;

Β 

‘A’ Level passes in Chemistry and Physics or Mathematics.

SPECIAL CONSIDERATION (WAIVER) REMARKS

(i)Β  LAUTECH accepts ‘A’ level passes in Β Physics, and Mathematics or ND upper credit /HND in Physics and plus the UTME requirements may be considered Β for admission into 200 level
