Subject Combination / JAMB UTME Requirements
In UTME, please note that English Language is Compulsory for this course. Therefore, the three (3) other JAMB UTME subject combination needed to study Fisheries under the Faculty of Sciences in the above listed universities include;
Chemistry, Biology and Mathematics or Physics.
SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS (WAIVER) REMARKS:
(i) OSUSTECH requires Biology, Chemistry and any one (1) of Mathematics, Physics and Agricultural Science.
(ii) UNILAG requires English Language, Biology, Chemistry and Physics.
O’Level Requirements
The O’level subject combination and requirements needed to study Fisheries;
You require;
Five (5) SSC credit passes in English Language, Biology, Chemistry, Mathematics and any other subject. ‘O’ level pass in Physics is required
SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS (WAIVER) REMARKS:
(i) OSUSTECH requires five (5) ‘O’ level credit passes in English Language, Mathematics, Chemistry, Biology and any one (1) of Agricultural Science, Physics and Geography.
(ii) UNILAG requires Five O/Level credit passes in English Language, Mathematics, Biology, Chemistry and Physics.
Direct Entry Requirements
These are the conditions you need to fulfill to gain Direct Entry admission to study Fisheries, if you don’t intend to use UTME.
You require;
(i) Two (2) ‘A’ level passes in Chemistry and Biology.
(ii) NCE/HND credit in Biology or Agricultural Science for 200 level
SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS (WAIVER) REMARKS:
(i) OSUSTECH requires
(a) Two (2) ‘A’ level passes in Biology, Chemistry or Physics.
(b) ND distinction and credit in relevant subjects.
(ii) UNILAG accepts
(a) Very good passes in the following three (3) JUPEB subjects: Biology, Chemistry and Physics.
(b) UNILAG does not accept NCE/HND
