Subject Combination / JAMB UTME Requirements
In UTME, please note that English Language is Compulsory for this course. Therefore, the three (3) other JAMB UTME subject combination needed to study Industrial Physics under the Faculty of Sciences in the above listed universities include;
Physics, Mathematics, and Chemistry or Biology.
SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS (WAIVER) REMARKS:
(i) EBSU requires Physics, Mathematics, and Chemistry or Biology.
O’Level Requirements
The O’level subject combination and requirements needed to study Industrial Physics;
You require;
Five (5) SSC credit passes in English Language, Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics, and any other Science subject from Further Mathematics and Biology or Agricultural Science.
SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS (WAIVER) REMARKS:
(i) GOUNI requires five (5) ‘O’ level credit passes at not more than two (2) sittings in subjects which must include English Language, Mathematics, Chemistry, Physics and Biology.
(ii) RNU require five (5) ‘O’ Level credit passes at not more than two (2) sittings including English Language, Mathematics, Chemistry, Physics and Biology.
(iii) EBSU requires five (5) ‘O’ Level credit passes in English Language, Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics and any other Science subject from Further Mathematics and Biology or Agricultural Science.
Direct Entry Requirements
These are the conditions you need to fulfill to gain Direct Entry admission to study Industrial Physics, if you don’t intend to use UTME.
You require;
Two (2) ‘A’ level passes in Physics and Mathematics
SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS (WAIVER) REMARKS:
(i) ESUT requires ‘A’ Level passes in Physics and Mathematics, accepts ‘O’ Level pass in English Language.
(ii) IMSU accept ‘O’ Level pass in English Language.
(iii) EBSU accepts HND, ND upper credit and NCE merit respectively in the relevant programmes/subjects
(iv) RNU requires ‘O’ Level credit pass in Further Mathematics.
(v) UNIBEN in addition to the UTME requirements, requires;
a) two (2) ‘A’ Level passes in Physics and Chemistry/ Mathematics, ND upper credit /HND lower credit in Science Laboratory Technology, Computer Engineering and related programmes, NCE merit with ‘O’ Level credit pass in Physics.
