Subject Combination / JAMB UTME Requirements


In UTME, please note that English Language is Compulsory for this course. Therefore, the three (3) other JAMB UTME subject combination needed to study Entrepreneurship under the Faculty of Social & Management Sciences in the above listed universities include;

Economics, Mathematics and one other Social Science or Commercial subject.

SPECIAL CONSIDERATION (WAIVER) REMARKS

(i) UNIBEN accepts Mathematics, Economics or Commerce or Business Methods plus any other subject.

(ii) OAU requires Mathematics and any two (2) subjects which must include one of the Social Science subjects except Commerce and Book Keeping.

(iii) ABUAD accepts Any combination of three (3) subjects from Arts, Social sciences or Sciences.

(iv) EDSU requires Economics, Mathematics and one (1) other Social Science or Commercial subject.

(v) KASU requires Economics, Mathematics and one other subject.

O’Level Requirements


The O’level subject combination and requirements needed to study Entrepreneurship;

You require;

Five (5) SSCE credit passes to include English Language, Mathematics, Economics, one Science subject and one other Social Science or Commercial subject.

SPECIAL CONSIDERATION (WAIVER) REMARKS

Β 

(i) UNIBEN requires ‘O’ Level credit passes at not more than two (2) sittings to include English Language, Mathematics, Economics or Commerce and any other two (2) subjects.

(ii) OAU requires five (5) β€˜O’ Level credit passes to include English Language, Mathematics, Economics plus any two (2) Science, Social Science or Arts subjects except Commerce and Book Keeping.

(iii) ABUAD requires Five (5) SSC credit passes to include English Language, Mathematics and any three subjects in Social Sciences, Arts or Science subjects.

(iv) EUI requires Five (5) SSC credit passes to include English Language, Mathematics, Economics, one (1) Science subject and one (1) other Social Science or Commercial subject at not more than two sittings.

(vi) KASU requires Five β€˜O’ level credit passes to include English Language, Mathematics, Economics and two other subjects

Direct Entry Requirements


These are the conditions you need to fulfill to gain Direct Entry admission to study Entrepreneurship, if you don’t intend to use UTME.

You require;

Two (2) ‘A’ level passes to include Economics and at least one of, Accounts, Business Management, Government, Geography or Mathematics

SPECIAL CONSIDERATION (WAIVER) REMARKS

Β 

(i) UNIBEN:

a. In addition to the UTME requirements, accepts two (2) ‘A’ Level, one of which should be Business Method /Management and either Economics or Accounting.
b. In exceptional cases, the following qualifications may be considered:

a. In addition to the UTME requirements, accepts a pass in the intermediate examination of the Institute of Chartered Accountant of Nigeria or of any other equivalent Professional Accounting Body.

b. accepts passes in all parts of the Associate Examination of the Institute of Bankers.

c. accepts ND in Business Administration with upper credit pass from recognised Polytechnic or College of Technology.

d. HND in any relevant programme awarded by a recognised Polytechnic or College of Technology. e. A Bachelor’s degree in any subject awarded by a recognised University.

(ii) ABUAD requires A’ level passes in any two (2) subjects.

(iii) OAU accepts candidates awarded Diploma by Obafemi Awolowo University, Ile-Ife or ND/HND with at least upper credit from accredited and recognised institution.

(iv) EDSU accepts Two (2) ‘A’ level passes to include Economics and one (1) of, Accounts, Business Management, Government, Geography or Mathematics. NCE with passes at Merit level in relevant subjects. ND/HND at Credit level in a related discipline. Very good passes in JUPEB/IJMB Subjects.

(v) KASU accepts Two β€˜A’ level passes chosen from Business Administration, Economics, Accounting, Statistics and Mathematics. HND/ND Lower Credit and NCE merit in related Discipline.
