Subject Combination / JAMB UTME Requirements
In UTME, please note that English Language is Compulsory for this course. Therefore, the three (3) other JAMB UTME subject combination needed to study Film and Video Studies under the Faculty of Social & Management Sciences in the above listed universities include;
Any three(3) from Arts or Social Science subjects.
SPECIAL CONSIDERATION (WAIVER) REMARKS
(i) WESTERN-DEL requires Literature in English and any other two (2) Social Sciences or arts subjects. A pass in Mathematics may be accepted.
O’Level Requirements
The O’level subject combination and requirements needed to study Film and Video Studies;
You require;
Five (5) SSCE credit passes in English Language and 4 other subjects in Arts or Social Sciences
SPECIAL CONSIDERATION (WAIVER) REMARKS
(i) WESTERN-DEL accepts five ‘O’ level credit passes including English Language, Literature in English, Government and any other social sciences subject.
Direct Entry Requirements
These are the conditions you need to fulfill to gain Direct Entry admission to study Film and Video Studies, if you don’t intend to use UTME.
You require;
Two ‘A’ level passes in Arts or Social Science subjects.
SPECIAL CONSIDERATION (WAIVER) REMARKS
(i) WESTERN-DEL requires two A’ level passes in Arts, Social Sciences subjects. ND (lower credit) in Mass Communication.
