In UTME, please note that English Language is Compulsory for this course. Therefore, the three (3) other JAMB UTME subject combination needed to study Political and Administrative Studies under the Faculty of Social & Management Sciences in the above listed universities include;
Three (3) Arts or Social Science subjects
SPECIAL CONSIDERATION (WAIVER) REMARKS
(i) UNIPORT requires Economics, Government/History and any other Social Science, Arts Subject or Mathematics.
O’Level Requirements
The O’level subject combination and requirements needed to study Political and Administrative Studies;
You require;
Five (5) SSC credit passes including English Language Government or History and at least a pass in Mathematics
SPECIAL CONSIDERATION (WAIVER) REMARKS
(i) UNIPORT requires Five (5) SSC credit passes including English Language, Government or History, Economics and any other two (2) subjects from Geography, Commerce, Literature in English, Mathematics, Biology, Physics, Chemistry, Agricultural Science. Note Pass in Mathematics is compulsory, if Mathematics is not inclusive in the five credits
Direct Entry Requirements
These are the conditions you need to fulfill to gain Direct Entry admission to study Political and Administrative Studies, if you don’t intend to use UTME.
You require;
Two (2) ‘A’ Level passes in Government and one other Social Science subject
SPECIAL CONSIDERATION (WAIVER) REMARKS
(i) UNIPORT accepts Two (2) Advanced level passes in GCE or HSC or JUPEB or IJMB, one of which must be Government or History in addition to the UTME entry requirements.
