= \(\sqrt{4 + 36}\)
= \(\sqrt40\) 
= 2\(\sqrt10\)  units

|AC| = \(\sqrt{(4 - (-3)^2 + (0 - 1)^2}\)
= \(\sqrt{(4 + 3)^2 + (0 - 1)^2}\)
