Explanation

From the figure above, using SOH CAH TOA

Tan\(\alpha\) = \(\frac{\text{opposite}}{\text{adjacent}}\)

Tan\(\alpha\) = \(\frac{87}{22}\) = 3.9545

\(\alpha\) = Tan\(^{-1}\)(3.9545) = 76ΒΊ
