Job Overview
A rewarding opportunity is available for a Registered Nurse to deliver high-quality, nurse-led care to individuals with complex needs in the community. This role is ideal for nurses with experience in complex care, A&E, HDU, or ICU who are looking to take the next step in a clinically focused and person-centred environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver person-centred care within service users’ homes
- Supervise, support, and mentor Healthcare Assistants and Support Workers
- Ensure safe, compliant, and high-quality care delivery
- Review and maintain accurate clinical documentation, including MAR charts
- Build and maintain professional relationships with service users and multidisciplinary teams
Essential Requirements
- Valid NMC Pin
- Proven UK nursing experience within complex care
- Full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle
- Strong clinical judgement and ability to manage a varied caseload
- Commitment to delivering high-quality, person-centred care
- Willing to work across Bedford and Royston areas
- Essential Clinical Skills
Airway management, including tracheostomy care
- Ventilation management (NIV)
- Enteral feeding
- Suctioning
- Experience delivering complex clinical interventions
Desirable Experience
- Background in A&E, ICU, or HDU
- Experience working with adult patients
- Knowledge of acquired brain injury, spinal cord injury, and neuromuscular conditions
