Eligibility Requirements For Colombia Government BECA Scholarship 2025
To be eligible for the Beca Colombia Scholarship Programme, applicants must be South African citizens under the age of 50 and must not currently reside in Colombia or have lived there within the past six months. They must not hold Colombian nationality, including dual citizenship.
Candidates should have a minimum cumulative undergraduate GPA equivalent to 4.0 out of 5.0 on the Colombian grading scale and must already be admitted to at least one, and up to three, eligible master’s degree programmes.

Applicants are advised to take note of the key dates for the Beca Colombia Scholarship Programme. The application deadline is 13 June 2025, after which the selection process will take place from 13 to 20 June 2025. Successful candidates will be notified of the results on 25 June 2025 and must confirm their acceptance of the scholarship between 26 and 27 June 2025.
